Where are You Going? My Maps and More Google Goodness

Location, location, location.  Incorporating relevant location into a variety of areas of study strengthens student understanding of content and their place in the world.

This session is ideal for the teacher to learn to use My Maps to document events, trips, locations, and stories.

Participants will:
  • Have hands-on experience creating and sharing personal maps incorporating a variety of Google tools in My Maps.
  • Learn how to organize work in a spacial context using the basics of cartography, layers, polygon and file imports and exports.
  • Develop a clear understanding of how to incorporate spacial context into a variety of content area
  • Acquire skills to use a variety of Google tools to enhance learning maps.
